Join us at the The Future of Infrastructure Engineering, a festival exploring the research and innovation shaping tomorrow’s built environment. The festival takes place over two themed sessions, Shaping Infrastructure and Experiencing Infrastructure, showcasing research that addresses the future of our built and natural environments alongside PhD pitches highlighting the innovative work of early career researchers across the Department of Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering. The Festival offers opportunities to engage with leading researchers, discover emerging ideas and connect with the people shaping the future of infrastructure engineering.

The Kemp Lecture

We are pleased to announce Professor Guy Nordenson will be delivering the prestigious Kemp Lecture, co-presented by UCL Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering and the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE). The lecture will be delivered in the evening, bringing together a leading voice in the field to reflect on the challenges, opportunities and future direction of infrastructure engineering.

Info: Guy Nordenson is a structural engineer and professor of architecture and structural engineering at Princeton University. Notable engineering works include the Jubilee Church in Rome, the Santa Fe Opera House, The Museum of Modern Art 2004 Expansion, the Kimbell Art Museum, the National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington DC, Day’s End at the Whitney Museum, and 200 other projects including over 45 museums. He has curated exhibitions, led conferences and authored numerous books including three with The Museum of Modern Art.
