On Friday the 30th October , in collaboration with Sonic Futures, we are being joined by Musician and BBC Introducing North East Presenter- Shakk.
In this relaxed session at The Northern Studios we will dive in how artists can make their work "Radio Ready". We will look into what to send, when to send it, and how to give presenters something usable so you’re not ignored.
This will be a hands on workshop for artists on getting more from releases on radio. We’ll cover the research and prep that actually changes outcomes, how to find a real angle without waffle, and how to build momentum that makes it easy for presenters to support you.
Following the session, Shakk will then hand the floor over to you- hosting a listening session. This is the perfect opportunity to invite artists to play their demos and songs with feedback from Shakk himself.
