THE FREAK FEAST!
Created By: Clay Wild Munley, Nola Powell, and Francisco Morales
Produced by: Small Boat Productions & BIG BEEF PRO
Presented at: BRICK AUX STUDIO PIECE DESCRIPTION: THE FREAK FEAST! is a magically absurdist, wickedly bloody dance theater piece about an ancient cosmic event that summons strangers into a chaotic, deadly dinner. As tensions escalate and secrets emerge, a group of scandalous witches must work together to solve a guest's M**der and confront a skilled, mysterious spirit before the forest realm of Pomdorra falls apart. Their challenge is to remain civil and truthful, instead of letting modesty turn monstrous under the weight of fear, desire, and chaos. Through clues, combat, and fluid forms of communication, the piece invites the audience to explore the primal pleasures beneath social masks and reflect on how we perform our identities in everyday life, blurring the line between civility and savagery in a night where the boundaries of reality and sanity are pushed to the edge.
