About this Event
Got a challenge you’re stuck on? An idea you want to test before you commit? A pitch that needs sharpening?
Founders Forum is a monthly peer support session for SETsquared Bristol members. You’ll work in a small group of fellow founders to help each other move forward on whatever matters most to you right now. It’s also a chance to get to know other members properly and build connections across the community.
How it works
Your group will be guided through a simple, structured framework. Each founder gets 20 minutes in the hot seat and chooses one of three ways to use it:
- Business challenges: get fresh solutions from people outside your bubble
- New ideas: stress-test your concept before you commit
- Pitch practice: get honest feedback on your pitch before it matters
Each 20-minute slot follows four steps:
- Present: you set out your challenge, idea or pitch
- Probe: the group asks questions to understand it fully
- Challenge: you listen while the group shares observations and suggestions
- Commit: you decide on your next steps

- Practical next steps you’ve committed to
- Fresh perspectives from founders who understand the pressures you’re facing
- New connections within the SETsquared Bristol community
Who it’s for
SETsquared Bristol members at any stage. Groups are kept small and matched by stage where possible, so everyone gets real time and attention.
Practical details
Places are limited to keep the groups small, so please only book if you can attend. If you can no longer make it, please cancel your ticket so someone else can take your place.
