About this Event
Count down to the new year — one envelope at a time.
Join us at the Jefferson Branch for a hands-on workshop where you'll build your own 24-day countdown garland: 24 little numbered envelopes strung on a ribbon, each one holding a small surprise for December. Open one a day as 2027 approaches.
You'll choose what goes inside from a menu of cozy winter activities, bookish treats, kindness prompts, and creative sparks — plus tea bags, tiny crafts, and other little goodies from our stuffing station. Prefer your own ideas? Blank slips are provided, so every calendar is uniquely yours.
No crafting experience needed. All supplies are provided, and you'll leave with a finished garland ready to hang.
