The other day, I stumbled upon one of the best live shows I've ever seen. The Emerald Empire band is a wedding/corporate cover group that brings together some incredibly talented musicians, and they were doing a showcase primarily for event planners and such. With a full horn section and six incredibly talented vocalists. I was kind of mind blown, and sad to find out that they don't generally do public gigs... but they'll be doing another showcase at Buteco in EAV. It's a free show in an intimate venue, excellent sound, and a small but good-vibe crowd. Also, Buteco serves a very good Caipirinha. I really can't wait, and I hope some folks want to join me. And I'll be going for dinner at Argosy beforehand, if you want to get some delicious food too. Time is not exact. I'll give details closer to the event. Here's one video of them, though I don't think it's as good as their show was the other day.
