About this Event
The EMDR Experience: Teach In & Somatic Meditation
Come join us in person for The EMDR Experience! This is an EMDR-Informed workedshop that aims to de-stigmatize mental health. Dive into an engaging teach in where you'll learn about EMDR principles and techniques, followed by a somatic meditation to help you feel more embodied and connected than when you arrived. Whether you're new or curious about EMDR, this event is a great chance to explore and refresh your mind in a friendly, laid-back setting. Don’t miss out on this unique experience! Nefertiti Harris joins us an on-site support person.
Note:
- This is not therapy, but it is collective care.
- A select EMDR directory of licensed mental health professionals in the state of Michigan will be provided for those who want to pursue EMDR therapy.
Feel free to bring your own comfy blanket, yoga mat, or pillow for added comfort. These will not be provided and are not a requirement.
