Leeds indie-roots band The Dunwells return to their hometown for a rare full band performance as part of their autumn/winter tour.Formed in Leeds in 2009, The Dunwells have earned a strong reputation for high-energy live shows built around powerful melodies, heartfelt lyrics and rich vocal harmonies. Their music blends rock, pop and indie-roots influences, creating an accessible sound that has won them audiences worldwide.
The band’s debut album, Blind Sighted Faith, was released in 2012 to critical acclaim. It featured the singles I Could Be a King, Follow The Road – which they performed on NBC’s Tonight Show with Jay Leno – and the popular title track. Since then, the band has released three further studio albums, a live album and a selection of EPs.
A seasoned touring act, The Dunwells have travelled extensively across the UK, Europe and the USA – supporting major international artists on UK tours, including Mumford & Sons, Elbow, Tom Jones and Bryan Adams.
