DRAWING LIVE ANIMALS! 6-WEEK SATURDAY SERIES FOR KIDSSaturday mornings this Fall just got a whole lot wilder. In our ongoing Animal Sketching Series, artist and educator Donna Hull guides young creators through a growing adventure in drawing.
Each week builds on essential sketching skills while introducing brand‑new animals, fresh challenges, and plenty of hands‑on practice. Whether your young artist is just starting out or eager to level up, nothing matches the excitement of sketching live animals as they observe, explore, and create!
Each week, Donna will introduce a new domestic-animal guest—giving students a chance to interact, and sketch from life. Such a fun way to build artistic confidence and connect with nature through art!
Drawing skills are woven into each weekly lesson and home play exercises are encouraged! Young artists will work on paper and be introduced to artist quality drawing materials such as graphite, blending sticks, kneadable erasers and more. With over 30 years of experience in the classroom and beyond, Donna brings a wealth of knowledge to this skill-building 6-week course!
