About this Event
Join Grassroots Comedy, DOE Alumni Network, and Environmental Protection Network for a night of comedy supporting this big, blue marble we call earth.
- Happy Hour from 6:00 - 7:30pm (don't miss it - you'll be sorry if you do!)
- Show from 8 - 9:30ish pm
When the Wicked Witch of the West melted, it was justified. She was a menace. On the other hand, while also being green, the planet earth has done NOTHING WRONG! It's time for all of us to step up and be the heroes our environment needs to survive!
Grassroots Comedy has had enough! Thus, we are partnering with DOE Alumni Network and the Environmental Protection Network for the COMEDY SHOW FOR A GREENER PLANET.
We’ve got a great line-up of comics who are ready to speak to the issues and make you chuckle while they're doing it! So grab an environmentally-friendly buddy or a good witch if you know one, jump on a bike (or a bus or your feet), and meet us for some laughs while we save the climate at the Comedy Show for a Greener Planet!
The mission of the DOE Alumni Network is to foster a thriving DOE alumni community that plays a central role in supporting each other, championing the transformational science and innovation mission of the Department, and shaping the Department’s role in the nation’s energy, environmental, and security future.
