The Artists' Studio Group presents The Colour of Place, an exhibition celebrating the many ways artists respond to landscape, memory and the natural environment through contemporary expressionist painting and ceramics.
Having painted and exhibited together for more than a decade, this group of six brings a diverse range of artistic voices to the show — from abstraction to semi-realism. Working in acrylic, mixed media, collage and ceramics, each artist explores colour, texture and design in their own way, for an exhibition rich in energy, imagination and visual connection.
Featuring new work by Cheryl Barrett, Ian Burgess, Jill Campbell, Jenni Gander, Dianne Turnbull and ceramic artist Sharon Taylor.
Gallery open Friday–Sunday, 9am–2pm, 16–25 October.
