The Close Embrace Experience is not your typical partner dance workshop. This immersive experience explores what happens when we use micro movement and precision to truly connect with our partner.
Through close embrace and mindful lead-follow, we’ll explore how connection can transform the way we dance — whether you’re passionate about Latin dance, Fusion, or other partner dance styles.
This workshop focuses on :
* Exploring the power of close embrace
Discover how dancing closer can create greater sensitivity, communication, and connection between partners.
* Developing deeper partner connection
Learn to listen with your body, respond to subtle signals, and create a conversation through movement rather than simply executing patterns.
* Refining your lead & follow
Develop greater clarity, responsiveness, and trust so that both partners can feel more comfortable, grounded, and connected.
* Learning to truly feel your partner
Every body moves differently. We’ll explore how to pay attention to your partner’s preferences, movement quality, energy, and natural way of moving.
* Finding musicality and shared expression
Instead of simply dancing to the music, learn how to experience and express it together — creating moments that feel spontaneous, organic, and alive.
* Creating natural flow and build-up
Explore how connection, musicality, and movement can build naturally throughout a dance, creating a sense of progression, playfulness, and emotional depth.
Whether you’re a beginner dancer looking to deepen your connection and break through to the next level, or an intermediate dancer wanting to bring more subtlety, sensitivity, and presence into your dancing, this workshop is an invitation to slow down, listen more deeply, and discover just how powerful connection can be.
