Description: The boundaries between cybersecurity, information systems governance, business continuity, and disaster recovery are becoming increasingly blurred. At the same time, artificial intelligence is transforming the technologies we rely on, the threats organizations face, and the skills professionals need to remain effective.
Join ACP Greater Houston as Anne Rogers, PMP, CISSP, explores the evolving relationship among the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), ISACA, and the business continuity and disaster recovery professions.
Drawing on her extensive background in information technology and cybersecurity, Anne will offer perspectives on how these disciplines intersect, how artificial intelligence is reshaping both cyber threats and defensive capabilities, and what emerging technologies may mean for the future of our professions.
The discussion will also consider opportunities for greater collaboration among professional associations as organizations seek more integrated approaches to risk management and operational resilience.
Topics for Discussion
- Converging professions: Where cybersecurity, information systems governance, business continuity, and disaster recovery intersect.
- The AI transformation: How artificial intelligence is changing professional responsibilities, capabilities, and expectations.
