Enjoy a free concert by The Brass Tree. Blending brass, percussion, jazz and electronics into evolving soundscapes.
About this Event

The Brass Tree is a collaboration between percussionist Rossen Nedelchev and composer Greg Hammontree, blending brass, percussion, and electronic sound design into rich, evolving soundscapes.

Supported by the Queens Arts Fund, the project culminates in a free public concert at Queens Botanical Garden on October 18, 2026.

Inspired by the organic growth of a tree—with each musical voice forming a branch in a living sonic canopy—the performance invites Garden visitors and the surrounding community into an open, immersive, and exploratory musical experience.

Set within the landscape of Queens Botanical Garden, The Brass Tree brings contemporary music into a public green space and encourages audiences to experience sound, nature, and place in a new way.

Location: Wedding Garden Plaza
