Hailing from New York City, Juan has played a significant role in shaping indie dance and modern electronic music since the early 2000s. As a key artist on the influential New York imprint DFA Records, he rose alongside the label’s formative wave, helping reignite disco-infused left-field electronic music while establishing a signature sound rooted in techno, house, electro, and synth-driven pop.

He has earned a reputation for dynamic DJ sets blending timeless grooves with a distinctly modern edge. As a long time resident of the legendary Good Room in Brooklyn, he plays open to close sets that can span 7+ hours.
