The Big Sci-Fi Quiz
An opportunity for social connection, friendship and community engagement
Health Life Fitness is working in partnership with Elmscroft Community Centre in Gloucester to increase community engagement and bring people together to help improve overall wellbeing and social connection to local residents and people in the wider community.
To help us do this, we are running an informal, friendly Science Fiction Quiz designed to bring adults together through a shared interest in science fiction.
About the quiz
The quiz is open to all adults, but may be of particularly benefit to people who have limited social networks, or simply have fewer opportunities to meet new people in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
The aim is not simply to test people's science fiction knowledge, but to have a good time, some friendly banter and an opportunity to meet people with shared interests.
Through a mixture of popular science-fiction television and film, the quiz is intended to create an accessible and enjoyable environment in which conversations and new friendships can develop.
