🎨 Meet Your Instructor: Brittany Burrows

Brittany Burrows is a self-taught portraiture artist of Nomlaki/Wintun and Pomo descent whose work primarily explores hyper-realism through pencil, although she enjoys experimenting with a variety of artistic mediums.

Driven by a deep connection to her Indigenous heritage, Brittany finds inspiration in culture, community, and the joy of bringing her creative visions to life.

Her artistic journey is also deeply inspired by her 11-year-old son, whose encouragement reminds her to embrace her talents and share her work confidently with the world.

For Brittany, art is more than personal expression. It's an opportunity to honor her roots, uplift her community, and help preserve and celebrate Indigenous creativity.
