Learn the old craft of broom making and take home a handmade broom of your own.
About this Event

Artful Aftermath is a creativity circle for anyone carrying something heavy, or simply needing a quiet hour to make something with their hands. We gather around a table, work with simple materials, and let the making do some of the talking. You don't need any art experience, and nothing you create has to be good, finished, or shared.

It's a welcoming space to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and be in good company while you do. Come as you are.

Brooms have swept hearths, guarded doorways, and hung on walls for centuries. In this broom-making class, you'll learn how one comes together by hand, from bundling and binding the bristles to finishing the handle.

You'll leave with your own handmade broom, ready to sweep the floor, hang by the door, or decorate for the season. No experience is needed, just a willingness to work with your hands.

Supplies are provided.

Seats are limited, so reserve yours early.
