About this Event
Join us for a relaxed and creative stained glass taster workshop inspired by the Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival theme of Reflection.
As we transform individual pieces of coloured glass into beautiful sun catchers, we'll take time to reflect on our own journeys of growth, resilience and hope. Just as each piece of glass is unique, every person's story has value, and together those individual pieces can create something beautiful.
You'll be introduced to the traditional copper foil stained glass technique, learning how to cut, grind, foil and solder glass while creating your own handcrafted piece to take home.
No previous experience is needed—just curiosity and a willingness to try something new. All materials and equipment are provided, and you'll be supported every step of the way in a welcoming, inclusive environment.
Come along to create, connect, reflect and discover what can happen when creativity and wellbeing come together.
This workshop offered by RAMH North Ayrshire Wellbeing & Recovery College will be delivered by Stained Glass artist Laura Stevenson.
