About this Event
Welcome to The Arewa Experience — the official launch of The Arewa Foundation.
This is more than an event. It is the beginning of a global movement created to empower women and girls to rise through Courage, Culture, and Purpose.
With a special commitment to women rebuilding their lives after domestic violence and adversity, The Arewa Foundation is creating pathways toward healing, confidence, independence, leadership, community, and renewed purpose.
The Arewa Experience brings that mission to life through an unforgettable evening of fashion, culture, storytelling, community impact, networking, and celebration.
Attire: African Gala
Come dressed to celebrate culture in its most elevated form. Guests are encouraged to embrace African-inspired formalwear, traditional attire, contemporary African fashion, or elegant cultural formalwear representing their own heritage.
Think African elegance meets gala night — bold, sophisticated, regal, and unapologetically cultural.
Whether your roots are African, Caribbean, Asian, Latin, Middle Eastern, European, American, or beyond, your culture has a place at The Arewa Experience.
Join us in Houston this October as we introduce the Foundation, celebrate the women and communities behind the movement, and create opportunities for supporters, sponsors, partners, advocates, and future participants to connect.
This October, we are not launching a pageant. We are launching the movement behind it.
Courage. Culture. Purpose. Many cultures. Countless stories. One movement.
