Meet Ben Small MP
Ben Small is the Federal Member for Forrest, Shadow Assistant Minister for Infrastructure, Shadow Assistant Minister for Electoral Matters and Opposition Whip.
A proud Western Australian with deep roots in the Southwest, Ben grew up in Bunbury and developed a lifelong connection to the sea. Before entering Parliament, he worked in the maritime oil and gas sector, managing marine operations for a global energy company, and holds both a Bachelor of Applied Science and an MBA.
Ben also has a strong history of community service, having volunteered as an ambulance officer for 10 years and served as WA’s youngest rescue skipper with Bunbury Sea Rescue. He later pursued his entrepreneurial interests, opening Small’s Bar in Eaton in 2017.
With his experience across business, industry, community and federal politics, Ben brings a valuable perspective on the issues impacting Western Australia and the Forrest electorate.
