We’re baaaacccckkkkkk!!!Join us once again at the Star and Shadow cinema in Newcastle upon Tyne for another onslaught of some of the best horror shorts around.
Terror on Tyne is the North East’s only dedicated horror short film festival. Run by horror filmmakers and fans, it puts both creators and audiences at the heart of the experience.
Join us for a showcase of some of the best local, national, and international horror shorts.
Awards will be presented for:
Best Horror Short
Best Horror Comedy
Best Micro Short
Best First-Time or Student Film
Best North East Film
This year we’re also thrilled to welcome Clive Tonge (Mara), who will be joining us for a Q&A about his work both within and beyond the horror genre, so get your questions at the ready for him!
We’re delighted that horror actress, scream queen, Hollywood interviewer, online comedy sensation and generally all-round great human, Amber Doig-Thorne (Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey) has joined our judging team and will have a special message for everyone at the festival.
There will also be opportunities for filmmaker networking, a horror and film marketplace to snap up some creepy bargains, a bar, food and the chance to chat with other brilliant filmmakers!
