Reconnect with yourself through your voice and discover the freedom with the voice you already have.
About this Event

Would you like to love your voice more?
To feel more confident in it?
To give yourself permission to express more freely?
To sing even when a part of you feels shy or afraid?
To be heard and welcomed with the voice you have right now?

Your voice is a bridge between what lives deep inside you and the world outside.

During Love Your Voice, we’ll become architects of that bridge, strengthening and exploring what makes your voice uniquely yours.

Your voice serves you every day, whether you love it or not. This workshop is an invitation to come home to it.

This workshop is for you if…

You want to:

  • feel more at home in your voice
  • express yourself more freely and fully
  • build confidence in your voice
  • feel more comfortable speaking or singing
  • explore and release blocks or tension in your body when using your voice
  • feel safer and less self-conscious about your voice
  • become less judgmental towards your own voice
  • get curious about what your voice can do
  • reconnect more deeply with yourself
  • explore your voice through symbols and creative practices
  • feel heard
  • discover your voice as a deeper source of freedom
  • experience more freedom in your expression

You don’t have to be a singer, but you can be:)
No previous experience is needed. And if you already have experience with singing or voice work, you’ll have plenty to explore too.

What will we explore?

Connection

We’ll begin with icebreakers and breathwork, helping you arrive in the space and in the present moment. You’ll have a chance to leave your everyday worries at the door, meet the other people in the group, and begin to feel safe and connected.

Voice & Body

Our bodies are our unique instruments. We’ll gently warm up the body preparing them to both receive and express your voice fully.

We’ll explore practical tools for supporting your voice, practices you can also take home and use in your everyday life.

Confidence & Freedom

We’ll build trust and acceptance in the voice you already have.

Rather than trying to change your voice into something it isn’t, we’ll explore how to feel more at ease with it, and how to let it take up more space.

Expression

We’ll gently broaden your comfort zone, one step at a time.

You’ll have opportunities to explore different ways of expressing yourself, with curiosity rather than pressure or judgment.

The Joy of Sharing

We’ll experience singing together, being together, and being heard.

We’ll explore singing not as a performance you have to get right, but as a process: an act of presence.

The voice you have right now is enough.

And from that place, there is so much more we can discover.

What might you leave with?

You might leave with:

  • a deeper connection with your voice and body
  • greater confidence when speaking or singing
  • more freedom in self-expression
  • a sense of safety and trust in your voice
  • less shame or self-consciousness around your voice
  • greater awareness of your natural voice
  • a more loving and accepting relationship with your voice
  • the courage to be seen and heard
  • a renewed sense of aliveness
  • heart full of love :)

Testimonials:

RAMUNE

“Joining Ola’s singing circle has been such a grounding and uplifting experience for me. I’m not a singer and I’ve never been the biggest fan of my voice, but from the very first session I felt welcomed into a safe and warm space, where everyone is encouraged to simply show up as they are, without pressure or judgement.

Ola creates a beautiful and fun atmosphere that makes it easy to relax. There’s something really special about singing in a circle, it can feel both calming and energising at the same time.”

NATALIA

“My main reflection after singing together is that my voice when I sing solo is very deeply wrapped up in shame, whereas when we sing together, that shame completely melts away.

The tension can release, and singing feels absolutely wonderful for the body.

The next day, I experienced a sense of awareness of my voice that I already knew, but hadn’t felt for a long time, a completely different way of feeling and hearing it.”

ADE

“Complete focus. I forget everything from my day when we’re in a session. I’m completely focused on what we’re doing.

It has changed my confidence with singing. I sing for pleasure in my own life and in my own world a little more than I used to, but after every session, I find myself singing more in my everyday life. I’m noticeably lighter and happier after a session, and my family have noticed that too.

I’ve also become much more aware of my voice and how I use it. I notice when I don’t feel confident, when I close myself off or hold back. Now I can pause, take a moment, and open up."

Who am I?

I’m Ola Carpe, a singer-songwriter and voice workshop facilitator.

I love music and what happens when people sing together.

My own relationship with my voice has been a long journey. At 21, I lost my voice, and finding my way back to it became a big part of finding my way back to myself. Eventually, I graduated in Music from Newcastle University, started writing my own songs, and found my way onto the stage.

I’m fascinated by the many layers of voice: the physical, emotional, creative and symbolic. I love exploring Jungian psychology, dreams and intuitive approach to art, while also being curious about research into how singing and using our voices can affect our wellbeing and health.

I love bringing these different worlds together: the intuitive and the practical, the creative and the evidence-based.

And at the heart of it all is something very simple:

I want more people to sing.
I want people to love their voices.

Not because everyone needs to become a singer, but because I believe there is something powerful about feeling your voice in your body and trusting it.
JOIN AND LOVE YOUR VOICE , I can't wait to hear you <3
