About this Event
Colin Rowe Lectures: ten years, 2016-2026
Join us in person to mark ten years of the Colin Rowe Lectures.
This year, the Colin Rowe Lecture series — a collaboration between the Centre for Architecture and the Visual Arts at the University of Liverpool and the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) — celebrate their tenth anniversary.
Since 2016, the series has explored the image of architecture through lectures and conversations with leading theoreticians and photographers including Richard Pare, Hélène Binet, Claire Zimmerman, Juhani Pallasmaa and Kenneth Frampton.
To mark this milestone, we have organised a special event at the new University of Liverpool School of Architecture, designed by O’Donnell + Tuomey.
Introduced by Marco Iuliano, Valeria Carullo will offer a behind-the-scenes account of Wide Angle View, the exhibition she curated and which is currently on display at RIBA North, Mann Island, Liverpool, until 1 November 2026. Following the lecture, there will be a special guided tour of the exhibition.
Booking for both the lecture and the tour is essential - first come first served.
