About this Event
Team Recons - Guided Tours at Space‑Comm 2026
Hosted by Spaceinterface
Join us for a small, expert‑led tour through Space‑Comm, the UK’s leading space‑industry exhibition. This is not a technical lecture. It is a clear, accessible introduction to the commercial space economy and the organisations shaping it. Filled with insider astronaut stories, the recons are fun.
Our recons are designed for alumni communities, professional groups and sector‑curious individuals who want to understand how space is evolving and why it matters far beyond engineering.
What to Expect
Over the course of roughly one hour, we guide you through selected companies, technologies and business models on the exhibition floor. You will hear sharp, well‑framed industry stories and have plenty of space to discuss what you see with others in your group. No technical background is required, and you can tell us your specific interests ahead so we can tailor your tour to them.
Flexible Timing
When is the tour? The Expo takes place during business hours on March 4th and 5th 2026. When you book, we will reach out and arrange the best time for your recon.
Who Can Join
-Individuals attending Space‑Comm
-Small groups from alumni associations
-Corporate teams
-Anyone curious about the future of the space economy
You may book a place for yourself or reserve several spots for a group. If you are organising on behalf of an institution or company, we are happy to coordinate directly. In any case, you will need to register for the expo itself, which is free and can be easily done online.
Why Space, and Why Now
The space sector has expanded far beyond engineering. It now involves law, policy, consulting, finance, marketing and business development. The industry is growing from roughly 600 billion dollars today to an expected 1.8 trillion dollars by 2035, driven by commercial innovation and everyday applications such as navigation, financial systems and climate services. As more value shifts into data and downstream services, space is becoming deeply integrated with the wider economy.
About Us
Spaceinterface works with the University of Amsterdam to support the human side of innovation in space technology. Our recon format at space-tech exhibitions has been developed as a high‑quality discovery tool for alumni communities, professional groups and organisations exploring emerging industries.
