Furniture and small wooden items Upcycling and Repair workshop

Learn basic woodwork skills from experts and bring along small or medium wooden items: chests of drawers, bed side cabinets, shelving units, chairs, small table, picture frame, spice rack for repair and upcycling on the spot. You will be able to fix, polish, varnish, paint or apply patterns to your items. Run by Islington Council’s joinery team. Battery drills will be provided, minors to be supervised by accompanying adult.

By repairing and upcycling you will lower your environmental impact, save money and resources.

Booking is essential. If the event shows as fully booked please email us, as we might be able to still add you to the list. After booking please submit picture of the item and what you would like to do, just to allow us to be prepared and to help you promptly.

We apologise, but this event is for Islington residents only.

We will open from 8.30am with latest admision by 10am. If you arrive later you might only be able to help others and get some skills rather then fix your item.
