About this Event
This final stakeholder event brings together researchers, practitioners, policymakers, commissioners, and people with lived experience to share and reflect on findings from the ESMI-III (Effectiveness and Implementation of Maternal Mental Health Services) study.
The day will focus on what the ESMI-III programme has learned about delivering, embedding, and sustaining maternal mental health services in practice, and how this learning can inform future policy, service development, and research.
Alongside findings from the main MMHS case study evaluation, the event will also share learning from the wider work programme including:
- Indigo Poppy – training to prevent and intervene in work-related PTSD in maternity staff
- Giving HOPE & Minimising Trauma – embedding trauma-informed approaches within maternal mental health services to support women at risk of separation from their baby due to safeguarding concerns
