About this Event
Toronto! Come check out this very special comedy show featuring EXCLUSIVELY trans and / or nonbinary comedians!
Tea4Tea is all about having a blast while gathering in community, celebrating the amazing trans comedic talent right here locally, and getting some hard earned trans and queer joy!
Come and enjoy a fun night of comedy and carry on with your Pride celebrations feeling like your most amazing (slightly lit!) selves, or be home in bed by 11 if that's your vibe!
Your Tea4Tea comedians are:
- Ajahnis Charley (@ajahnischarley, they/them, This Hour Has 22 Minutes, The Beaverton, Just for Laughs New Faces)
- Bee Bertrand (@beebertrandcomedy, he/him, Just for Laughs New Faces, tour-mate with Biff Naked, Queer Trash Triva, Bad Gay Advice, Bee Bertrand and Pals)
- Bren D'Souza (@brendasouz, they/them, Just for Laughs, Roast Battle Canada)
- Ava Val (@avavalcomedy, she/her, John Candy Comedy Award, CBC, CTV, OutTV, Crave, Just for Laughs, Halifax & Winnipeg Comedy Festivals, Canada's Got Talent)

Doors 7 30 pm, show 8 pm!
Tickets are $25 (we love to pay trans & enby folx fairly for their labour!) but all are welcome regardless of means - DM @annasebastiencomedy on Instagram for Pay What You Can tickets / community pricing.

The venue:
- The show takes place in the front cafe area of the Theatre Centre. The entrance is via the glass doors just off Queen St. W.
- Seating is self assigned and primarily at-grade single occupancy, unfixed chairs. A few bar seats are also available
- The entrance, performance area, and washrooms are all at-grade and accessible for mobility aid users
- There is a single stall, wheelchair accessible gender neutral washroom available as well as communal gendered 'men' and 'women' washrooms
- There are non-alcoholic and alcholic beverages available for purchase. There is no kitchen / food available at the venue (but lots of great food options nearby). No purchase is required on top of your ticket (but support the venue if you are so inclined!)
Community:
- All are welcome including respectful allies that recognize this is a trans-forward space where we don't assume anyone's pronouns, gender, or orientation, and where any sort of oppressive or creepy behaviour won't fly
- Performers are encouraged to keep the vibes as comfy and inclusive as possible and agree to community guidelines which include no aggressive crowd work, avoiding topics likely to be triggering in a trans space, and no "punching down"
- Questions? Nervous about coming out? Just want to say hey before the show? Feel free to reach out to the host and producer Anna on IG at @annasebastiencomedy or via email at [email protected] - its all about community!
- We all want a sexy, healthy Pride month! If you are feeling sick, please stay home! Refund requests will be honoured up to 24 hours before the show
- Masks are not mandatory but strongly encouraged
