For one evening, we’re turning Yoga Kendra into a temporary tea house.
No rush. No loud bar. No pressure to be anywhere else.
Just a room filled with tea, ambient sounds, music, art, and people taking a few hours out of the ordinary.
Throughout the evening, we’ll be brewing a changing selection of Japanese, Chinese, and Taiwanese teas — different leaves, different places, different stories. Sit down, have a cup, discover something new and stay for the next pot.
The soundtrack for the evening will move through live DJ sets, ambient soundscapes and slow, hypnotic rhythms.
Along the way, we’ll gather for a guided Dharma Tea Meditation, explore the world of fermented tea through a kombucha tasting, and share some vegan treats.
Come alone. Come with friends.
Bring a book, a sketchbook or nothing at all.
Find a corner and disappear into your own world for a while. Share a pot of tea with someone you’ve never met. Draw. Read. Listen. Talk. Meditate. Or simply sit and watch the steam rise from your cup.
Nothing is expected of you here.
Stay for twenty minutes or lose yourself for a few hours.
Drink tea. Listen deeply. Meet people. Be alone together.
