Tea & Tiny RelicsNovember 28, 2026
10 AM–1 PM
Creative City Centre, Regina, Saskatchewan
Free to the public - Space is limited, register in advance!
Join Treaty 4 artist Geanna Rae during her Artist Residency at the Creative City Centre for a cozy morning of tea, coffee, creativity, and storytelling. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll create a tiny relic inspired by a memory, person, place, feeling, or your imagination. Using air-dry, non-toxic clay, found objects, and miniature materials, you’ll transform small things into meaningful objects that hold a story. No previous art experience is needed, and you can share the story behind your creation or keep it entirely to yourself.
All clay, tools, and crafting materials will be provided, along with tea and coffee. You’re welcome to bring a small personal object, such as an old key, button, handwritten note, or natural treasure, to incorporate into your relic, but this is entirely optional.
Each finished relic will be photographed and documented as part of the Tea & Tiny Relics Miniature Museum, a growing visual archive celebrating the objects and stories created throughout Geanna Rae’s year of workshops as Artist in Residence. Photographs may be used in future presentations about the workshop series, while you’ll take your original relic home!
Please note: Advance registration is required, and spaces are limited. The workshop space is wheelchair accessible. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Hot glue will be used during the workshop.
Everyone is welcome to explore memory, identity, belonging, and storytelling through this playful, welcoming art experience.
Make something tiny. Give it a story. Let it be witnessed. Then take it home.
