Description:
Come hungry and curious! Sample vibrant, delicious plant-based dishes while learning what a plant-based diet is all about: what to eat, how to get the nutrients your body needs, and how whole foods can support strength and longevity.
Leave with new flavors to love, practical tips, recipes, and easy ideas to bring home. No cooking experience needed, just an appetite!
We're bringing the flavors front and center with a hands-on tasting experience featuring a curated line-up of whole-food, plant-based recipes. Think vibrant samples of feel-good bites you'll actually want to recreate at home: breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks/dessert!
We will begin the workshop by exploring how to source essential nutrients, science-backed benefits of plant-based eating, including how plant-foods impact health (lower blood pressure, decrease cardiovascular disease, stabilize blood sugar, lower cholesterol, decrease inflammation, and lower body weight), simple ways to incorporate more plant foods into everyday meals, and practical tips for you and your family!
Bonus: Bring your own reusable plate, bowl, utensils, cup, and napkin to help reduce waste — and you’ll get a special take-home treat as our thank-you!
(Note: There’ll be a brief moment of blender action, so bring headphones if you’re sound-sensitive.)
Option to bring some shelf-stable foods that will be donated to the Community Food Pantry.
