About this Event
Have you been pulling a card a day since forever? Maybe do a spread on NYE or when a full moon comes around, but do you get shy or anxious when someone says, "Oh you do tarot? Can you read my cards?"
This is a change to practice, learn, and share tarot for readers of all levels and backgrounds to deepen their tarot practice and connect with other tarot enthusiasts in their community.
In Victorian times, a Salon was a regular, private social gathering held in a person's home—specifically within the parlour or drawing room—designed to foster intellectual conversation, artistic performance, and social networking. Renowned as a key feature of the "age of conversation," these events were often moderated by educated women (salonnières) who brought together artists, writers, politicians, and intellectuals to discuss literature, science, politics, and culture... and in our case tarot.
🫖 7PM Introductions, find a seat, put on the kettle, pick a teacup
🕯️ 7:15 Pick a deck that speaks to you, share the deck you brought
☕️ 7:30-8:30 Exchange readings and insights with your neighbour, laugh over tea, hum and haw about that interpretation, shuffle and try again!
This is community event and the purpose is to gather and connect with each other. You may be encouraged to talk to folks you don't know! We're leaning into what can be learned from our collective sharing of wisdom. Please don't be offended if you're asked to sit with other people or mingle a bit, it's all part of the fun and goes wonderfully when folks bring an attitude of openness, nonjudgment, and curiosity.

Your Salonnières:
Esné - Based in Paris, Esné has been practicing tarot for over twenty years. She is an intuitive, hypnosis specialist, and somatic practitioner who honed her craft in France, only a stone’s throw from the Musée Français de la Carte à Jouer.
She reads with the Rider–Waite Smith deck, the Tarot de Marseille, and the Lumina Tarot deck (French edition). She also combines tarot with a collection of oracle decks, including L’Oracle des Chamanes, Messages from the Fairies by Doreen Virtue, the Rumi Oracle, and The Wild Unknown Animal Spirit Deck.
Adrianna - Celtic Pagan and Daughter of Brigantia, she has been reading tarot for 30 years and she still uses the book that came with her tarot deck! Her decks in rotation are The Goddess Tarot, The Memento Mori Deck (Adri is a Death Doula so that tracks), and the Modern Witch Tarot. Every NYE she does a Circle of Strength spread that is eerily accurate... Her favourite teas are London Fogs and Mists of Avalon and used to be a professional Victorian for 13 years with the city museums.
