We're very excited to announce the return of Tanglejack in a Folk At The Maud presents double bill alongside genre songwriter Ophelia's Beard!Known as the Simon and Garfunkel of South Wales, John-Paul Davies and Duncan Leigh have perfected their unique, acoustic, double-duet sound. Through tight two-part harmonising and intricate, interweaving guitar lines TangleJack conjure an extraordinary four part texture. And it is on stage that the chemistry behind the TangleJack sound can really be experienced.
In 2026, to mark ten years since the release of Eden, TangleJack are releasing an exclusive digital and vinyl only Eden EP of fan favourites from their first album. John-Paul and Duncan have chosen five songs that, all these years later, still form the core of the TangleJack live set. Each track will be freshly recorded to capture how these pieces have evolved from the original, now sold-out, album to the expressive and nuanced performances of the new EP.
TangleJack will perform the Eden EP in full alongside songs from The Ragged Edge album and other releases in an intimate evening with excellent local support acts.
Support comes on the night from one of South Wales' most exciting singer-songwriter's Ophelia's Beard. Combining echoes of folk's rich heritage' with a modern twist.
