About this Event
Join a guided walk led by two of Forestry England's Volunteer Rangers who are responsible for caring for the Blackwater arboretum.
Approximately two miles long, the walk starts with a gentle meander along part of the Tall Trees trail beneath mighty Douglas firs and redwoods.
The route leaves the Tall Trees trail to circle through woodland along a grass ride back into the arboretum. Here you'll be introduced to some of the interesting trees in the collection and hear their stories. The Rangers will also explain how trees are helping to tackle the challenges of our changing climate. The walk will end back at the car park from where it started.
