About this Event
Join Janet, Engagement Officer from the Higher Level Stewardship team on a guided walk around a restored wetland site. Discover how the area was restored for wildlife, commoning and people, and learn more about the area around Elkhams Grave.
This walk is suitable for anyone interested in the management of the New Forest’s Crown Lands and wildlife.
Duration: The walk is approximately three miles long - allow two hours
Difficulty: The walk uses grassy rides and gravel tracks with very few inclines. It will more than likely be wet (hopefully!), so please wear wellington boots or waterproof walking boots. Please bring your binoculars to catch any glimpses of wildlife while on our walk.
Dogs: Please keep your dogs at home for this walk.
Number of participants: Maximum 18
Cost: Adults £5. Under 18s free.
Meeting point: Wootton Bridge car park w3w: puts.foggy.salmon at 10.30am. We will aim to be back for 12.30pm.
