About this Event
Join Us for Talking Determinants of Health In and Across Sectors!
Join the Pictou County Mental Wellness Roundtable for an interactive, cross-sector conversation exploring the determinants of health and their impact on the wellness of individuals, families, and communities in Pictou County. As communities continue to face challenges related to housing, affordability, mental health, social connection, and other interconnected factors, this session will focus on strengthening our shared understanding of how these determinants shape health outcomes and influence community wellness.
Together, participants will explore how to effectively communicate about these issues with diverse audiences, including government, business, and the public. Through collaborative activities, a multi-sector panel discussion, and practical communication exercises, attendees will gain insights, share experiences, and build skills to help frame critical conversations about determinants of health.
The session aims to foster greater cross-sector understanding, strengthen collective efforts, and support coordinated action to improve health and wellness outcomes across Pictou County.
We encourage everyone to share this opportunity broadly throughout your network.
