Join Bushcraft clothing maker Brian Painter of @modernwoolfare and artist and historian Becca Smith @beccasmith_art who will offer their insights into 'Medieval Clothing and Survival'; the clothing used by Maxionians in the year of the Norman Conquest, including the naturally-dyed colours, belts and fastenings, types of bags, shoes and hats. You’ll be able to feel the textures of types of cloth, try stitching, discover how clothing could have protected you against weather, fire and battle, and smell the natural dye stuffs!
