A Special London Screening & Panel Discussion
Join us for a unique London celebration of one of Ukraine’s most acclaimed films of the year.
Presented by Talented U, this special event celebrates the 2026 Ukrainian Golden Dzyga Awards — the national film awards presented annually by the Ukrainian Film Academy and recognised as Ukraine’s highest honour in cinema. Since 2017, the Golden Dzyga Awards have celebrated excellence in Ukrainian filmmaking and are considered the country’s equivalent of the Oscars.
This year, U ARE THE UNIVERSE (Ти — Космос), directed by Pavlo Ostrikov, has received 12 Golden Dzyga Award nominations, making it one of the most celebrated Ukrainian films of the year.
Following the screening, audiences will have the opportunity to join a special panel discussion with Pavlo Ostrikov (subject to availability) together with representatives of the Ukrainian Film Academy and the Golden Dzyga Awards.
Together, we’ll explore the new wave of Ukrainian cinema, discuss how the industry continues to evolve during wartime, and examine the growing international recognition of Ukrainian filmmakers.
About the Film
After Earth is destroyed, Ukrainian space trucker Andriy believes he has become the last person left in the universe.
Everything changes when he unexpectedly receives a message from Catherine, a French scientist stranded aboard a distant space station.
What begins as a fight for survival becomes a visually stunning story about hope, love and the importance of human connection.
