Take the Train for a Bike Tour of the South CoastSunday, October 11
Outbound Train: Ride Train #7009 at 8:20 AM from South Station (or points south) to New Bedford Station (Last Stop). Look for the special bicycle car, which will accommodate up to 50 bicycles.
Meet at the Whale’s Tooth Parking Lot at 10:02 am when the train arrives, and be ready to ride at 10:15 am. If you're not riding the train, meet at 10:00 am.
Explore the South Coast Bikeway and local roads with local guides or via self-guided maps and GPS routes from 16 miles to 53+ miles. Enjoy scenic views, history, and local food spots or a BYO picnic.
Return Train: Ride Train #7034 at 3:20 PM back to Boston. Look for the special bicycle car, which will accommodate up to 50 bicycles.
What to Bring: Your own bike, helmet, and water bottle; money for treats.
