Please join us for our most powerful night of the year: Take Back the Night.October is nationally recognized as Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM). As the local service providers for survivors of domestic violence, YWCA MV is honored to hold Take Back the Night every October.
This is your chance to experience our mission in action, as survivors and allies come together in solidarity to call for an end to violence!
This event will include:
• Rally & March
Let’s get loud! Bring signs and bring your voice!
We’ll march together for approx. 0.4 mile. Anyone attending is invited to create and bring their own sign(s) to carry during the march. Creative expression is encouraged!
• Survivor Speak Out
Listen as others share their experiences, or share your own story in a safe, supportive space.
• Candlelight Vigil
To honor lives we have lost to domestic violence.
This powerful evening serves as a vital reminder to survivors that we see you, we hear you, and we believe you.
