Amelie Jat is a London-based singer, songwriter and performer whose work blends cinematic atmosphere with emotionally precise, story-driven songwriting. Known for transforming lived experience and close observation into immersive pop narratives, Jat’s music exists at the intersection of vulnerability, restraint and emotional world-building.
Born and raised in Hong Kong, Jat began her musical journey as a drummer at the age of three, before expanding into songwriting, vocals, and performance. Now based in London, she has built a reputation for crafting deeply felt songs that balance intimacy with scale — creating music that feels both personal and expansive.
Following the release of her 2023 album for the plot and her 2025 project NONCHALANT, Jat established herself as a rising force in contemporary pop, earning Commercial Pop Club Chart success with singles including “BUTTER” (#4) and “rollercoaster” (#7). While those releases showcased her gift for emotionally direct, performance-driven pop, her 2026 work marks a deliberate artistic evolution.
Her latest era introduces a more experimental, mature, and narrative-led approach to songwriting and production. Jat’s recent music invites listeners into a collection of lived-in moments and shared emotional landscapes. It’s an era defined by patience, ambiguity, and storytelling. Her single 'VENUS/ADONIS' recently earned a place in the UK Commercial Pop Club Charts again (#6) and she was also a semi-finalist for the Isle of Wight Festival’s New Blood Competition (placing her in the top 30 out of 5000+ artists) earlier in 2026.
