Join us between 12:30 and 5:00 on Sunday 1 November while Sydney is 'Open'!From their website: "Sydney Open is an evolving program that takes you inside buildings and spaces that are rarely open to the public. From our eponymous flagship event in the CBD, to curated monthly tours, talks, and out-of-town pop-ups, Sydney Open is your key to the city."
Over 30 buildings around Sydney CBD, including Christ Church St Laurence, and including parts of these buildings that aren't often publicly visitable, will be open for guests to take themselves on a self-paced tour. Pick which buildings you are interested in, or if you have the legs for it, see them all! Plan your day using the wishlist feature on the Museums of History NSW website: https://www.sydneyopen.com.au/plan-your-day/
In 2025, we opened our belltower for guests to try their hand at ringing the bells, and we opened part of our heritage Rectory for tour.
Please factor into your planning that our church will be available to view from 12:30-5:00pm, due to our usual Sunday services.
While the ticket price may seem like a substantial amount of money, if you are up for visiting several buildings nearby it makes the day worthwhile!
