Why choose? This talented band is comfortable in both genres, and so Hands Four Dancers of Ithaca and the Ithaca Swing Dance Network have decided to join forces to offer an evening of BOTH!Contra caller Nancy Spero and swing dance instructor Cindy Overstreet will lead separate beginners’ workshops in each style from 7:00 to 7:30, followed by an evening dance that will feature a mix of both. Plus, at the break Cindy will have some “cool moves” teaching, and Lou Church will coach new contra dancers on technique.
Expand your horizons, meet new folks, and enjoy an evening of dancing and snacks at the break.
