Join us at The Sustainable Living Project for a sweet potato harvest day. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just curious about the harvesting process, everyone is welcome! The sweet potato harvest is an exciting hands on learning experience for both adults and kids. After harvesting we will do some weeding, mulching, and then replant the area with fal veggies!
Volunteering is a great way to connect with your community, learn more about urban agriculture, and support a more sustainable local food system. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting a dirty, bring water, and wear closed toed shoes.
