About this Event
Another stunning coast path walk covering 5 miles along the South West Coast Path. This walk forms part of our "Walk the Bay" offer covering the whole bay in 3 walks. Join us for another moderate (with some more challenging sections of steps) 5.5 mile walk on the Coast Path from Torquay to Broadsands.
Overall this is a moderate walk, much of it on the sea front and reasonably flat. Starting at the front of the railway station we will walk down to the sea and then follow the coast path along the road to Hollicombe Park, down across Hollicombe beach and then on to the coast path through Preston and Paignton beaches, around the harbour and Fairy Cove and then over Roundham Head, across Goodrington sands and then on to Broadsands (this section includes some steeper inclines)
We will meet at the front of Torquay Railway station on the Rathmore Road side by the car park. The walk ends at Broadsands beach but to catch the bus back or onwards there is an additional 0.4 miles of gentle uphill back to the Cherrybrook bust stop on Dartmouth Road.
