Southwest Detroit Speed Networking
This Hispanic Heritage Month, we’re bringing our community together a little differently.
Southwest Detroit Speed Networking is a social networking experience designed to make meeting new people actually feel natural.
Think speed dating… minus the dating. Instead of walking into a networking event wondering who to talk to, we’re taking away the awkward part and giving everyone a reason to meet someone new.
We’ll start the evening with time to grab a drink, settle in, and mingle. Then, everyone will receive one of two colored name tags. Every 10 minutes, we’ll switch it up and challenge you to find someone with the opposite color who you haven’t met yet.
The goal isn’t to collect business cards or give your elevator pitch. It’s to have real conversations and build authentic connections with people in and around our community.
You never know who you’ll meet—a new friend, creative, collaborator, mentor, business connection, or simply someone whose story you needed to hear.
After speed networking, stick around as we transition into a social hour with music, drinks, and time to reconnect with the people you met throughout the night.
