About this Event
SustyVibes US Launch and Film Screening
Join us for the official launch of SustyVibes United States, marking the start of a new youth-led movement connecting climate action and mental wellbeing across America.
The evening will open with a screening of The Eco-Anxiety Africa Project (TEAP), a documentary revealing how our changing climate is shaping the mental wellbeing of young people across Africa.
Following the screening, stay for a fireside panel — Eco-Anxiety in the Polycrisis: Support and Safeguarding for Young People's Mental Health in the US — bringing together experts working at the intersection of climate change, mental health, and youth development.
This conversation will connect lived experience to action, offering practical insight into building youth-centred climate resilience in your own community. We'll also unveil our founding cohort of US-based SustyVibers, who will lead on climate resilience initiatives over the next 18 months. Perfect for anyone interested in climate advocacy, youth mental health, and community-centred sustainability work.
This launch event is hosted in collaboration with The Planetary Health Alliance.
