Sustainability Scavenger Hunt & Garden Chat at Teaism Dupont Circle

In honor of Food Waste Prevention Week, join us for a scavenger hunt in the native-plant garden at Teaism’s Dupont Circle location. Search for special native plants, food waste-fighting intel, and other good things in the green space just in front of the restaurant.

Complimentary tea will be available to fuel your search, along with Ginger & Pear Bread Pudding made from leftovers of Teaism's classic Ginger Scones, in the spirit of reducing food waste!

To aid in your search:

• Brian Wright, gardener and tea importer, will be available to chat about the native plants;
• Rachael Jackson with EatOrToss.com will be available to chat about food waste; and
• Lela Singh, from Teaism’s management team, will be available to answer questions about Teaism.

What to expect:

• A self-guided food waste scavenger hunt, with local experts to guide you and share their expertise.
• Complimentary tea and Ginger & Pear Bread Pudding.

• Will walk-in tickets be available? We prefer that you register in advance so we can prepare refreshments.
