Led by the magnetic Carter Reeves, former frontman of breakout hip-hop/pop outfit Aer, Surfer Girl delivers the soundtrack to a carefree, sun-soaked life. Hailing from Wayland, MA but deeply rooted in laid-back coastal culture, the band blends indie-pop, reggae, surf-rock, and hip-hop into a seamless high-energy sound. Surfer Girl has built a global community drawn to breezy anthems, crisp production, and uplifting energy. Now the band is stepping into its boldest chapter yet with Midnight, their forthcoming full-length album arriving August 21. The rollout just hit a new peak with "Smoked Out," a single featuring Wiz Khalifa built on an old-school-style Wiz beat that puts Carter's rapping front and center, a marquee moment that signals the scale of what's coming. "Smoked Out" joins a run of Midnight singles that have already showcased the band's expanding range. Chestnut Hill is a nostalgic, textured nod to roots and reflection. Lose Touch blends groove-heavy production with emotional honesty and a driving rhythmic pulse. Slow Motion is an easygoing, sunlit track reminding listeners to enjoy the ride. Wear It Out is a hook-driven, upbeat cut about the fondness for a favorite person, felt even in something as simple as wearing their clothes. Eavesdrop taps into a classic, SoCal-produced sound that makes listeners want to hop in a lowrider and drive down the coast. Together, the singles balance mature instrumentation with sharp hooks, reinforcing the band's ability to lock into a pocket and ride it out. The Wiz Khalifa feature makes clear Surfer Girl is reaching further than ever for Midnight. Midnight follows 2025's acclaimed full-length Sunset, which featured an all-star lineup including Bryce Vine, Collie Buddz, Emily Brimlow, and more, and set the stage for this next evolution. The band has deepened their reputation for performances that feel both nostalgic and refreshing. Through headphones on a quiet beach or caught up in the middle of a roaring festival crowd, the band delivers a masterclass in musical versatility. They have performed to crowds across the country, including standout sets at Tortuga Music Festival in Fort Lauderdale, BeachLife Festival in Redondo Beach, and Vans Warped Tour in Long Beach and Orlando.
South Summit has quickly emerged as a unique and powerful voice in the Australian music scene. Known for their genre-defying blend of indie rock, reggae, and hip-hop. Since forming in 2020, the five-piece has rapidly earned a reputation for their high energy live shows, emotional depth, and impressive musicality. Their 2024 debut album The Bliss, marked a major creative milestone. Featuring standout singles “Givin’ It Up”, “Ottoway”, and “Exceptional”, the album debuted at #2 on the ARIA Albums Chart and hit #10 on the Vinyl Charts. It showcased a band unafraid to push sonic boundaries while delivering deeply human storytelling. Touring has been at the heart of South Summit’s rise. After selling out multiple national headline runs, the band expanded internationally in 2024/25 with tours across the UK, Europe, and New Zealand, bringing their sound to new and growing global audiences. In 2025, South Summit continued that trajectory with the release of their exciting new singles TOP OF THE HILL, WE ARE and HEARTLESS which have quickly become a fan favourites. With their album Run It Back now released and debuting at #3 on the ARIA Australian Album Chart, 2026 sees the band building on this career-defining milestone with a full year of touring ahead. Continuing to expand their global reach, the band are cementing their reputation as one of Australia’s most exciting and internationally rising acts.
JOBY! is a 24 year old Native Hawaiian Indie Reggae artist hailing from Honolulu, Hawaii, blending the sun-soaked spirit of island life with infectious rhythms and a laid-back groove. JOBY! has released several tunes that encapsulates his feel-good, uplifting vibe taking inspiration from Steve Lacy, Aswad, and Dominic Fike to create his own unique sound.
JOBY! has built strong momentum in the local and national music scene, opening for major acts such as Summer Salt, Quinn XCII, Still Woozy, MAX, Cannons, and Earthgang at The Republik, and more. His most recent appearance at the Waikiki Shell opening for Young the Giant and Cold War Kids. JOBY! has also been featured in the Aloha Bash Music Festival and successfully sold out a headlining album release show with over 300+ attendees. His work has earned recognition across multiple media platforms, including Island 98.5, HI 93, OPIHI 107.7, Hawaii Public Radio, HI Now Daily, and KHON 2 News with his most recent single "Falling Blindly" charting #30 Globally for Reggae.
