ABOUT THE ARTIST: MARIO ARÉVALO
For Mario Arévalo, music became more than a hobby—it became his life. After moving to Long Island, New York, in the late 1990s, he pursued his passion through formal vocal training, earning a degree in vocal performance from the Conservatory of Music at Purchase College, SUNY, and a master's degree from Boston University School of Music.
Arévalo has performed in productions with New York City Opera, Florida Grand Opera, and Boston Lyric Opera, establishing a career rooted in vocal artistry and the expressive tradition of opera.
In 2016, he founded Una Voz, Un Mundo (One Voice, One World), an organization dedicated to amplifying the work of Latin American musicians and composers. His commitment to musical expression and cultural connection makes Amor Sin Fronteras a fitting celebration of music's ability to bring people together across languages and borders.
